The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Beds were comfy and the living area spacious. The conservatory is a super bonus and we enjoyed our time sitting and taking in the views. We stayed over Christmas and the owner had arranged Christmas lights and a small tree which was a nice thought. Communication with the owner was good. The cottagRead moree is well located for walks straight from the front door. We have no hesitation in recommending the cottage and would love to return Hide

Lovely cottage in a stunning location. What a fabulous view. The conservatory is such a great space. Very well equipped and comfortable. Great walks from the cottage and beyond. Loved the Devonshire Arms and enjoyed a drink on the terrace at the golf club which is just a stone throw from the cottage. We had a great time.

We had an amazing time. Really homely, cosy and welcoming. The view and the surroundings are beautiful. We were not affected by any traffic at all. Cottage is in lovely location. Slightly cold as heating only set to 20c, and stayed in winter. Nice cottage to relax in, and lovely surroundings to go for walks. Village close by has everything you will need.

A lovely cottage situated down a narrow lane. I would like to use the word "quiet" but it was quite busy at times, as indicated by other stays. Generally this was no problem but some drove quite fast down there, especially at night when we were walking home from the pub. So best carry a torch. The cottage had everything we needed for the week, in pRead moreart because we ate out at the Devonshire arms on four occasions and the Oddfellows on another. Both serve good food but the OF has a more Pub feel. Hide

A characterful cottage with beautiful views from the conservatory which was a real highlight. Very comfortable beds and everything we needed for a few days away. Probably not the most ideal choice with a toddler due to steps and open staircase but luckily our daughter isnt too adventurous! Also probably not a great choice if you have mobility issueRead mores. The road was quite tight as others have said but it didnt bother us as was a lovely rural setting which outweighed that inconvenience. Hide
