An idyllic rural haven, the cottage enjoys an impressive position set amidst rolling countryside. The roomy one bedroom cottage with limestone floors is bursting with character throughout.

One of three cottages at this delightful rural location but at the same time being close to this historical village associated with the plague in 1665.

Walks abound from your doorstep as do the stunning views of the surrounding area towards the escarpments of Froggatt Curbar and Baslow Edges. The village itself offers some good facilities but you are also centrally based to explore this area of the National Park. The city of Sheffield is but a short drive away along with the attractions facilities and theatres a city of this size has to offer.

Clarice PK743 Clara and PK745 Clementine cottages are at the same location. This comfortable cottage has been fitted out in a country style with entry into the good sized accommodation into to the open plan and well equipped kitchen dining and lounge area. It has a flagged limestone floor and a welcoming woodburner inset in a beautiful Derbyshire stone fireplace the lounge area takes in the wonderful views across the fields to woodlands beyond. The stairs lead to the bedroom that has a featured vaulted beamed ceiling king size bed and an en suite shower room with shower hand basin and toilet. An additional chair bed is available please request bedding at the time of booking. There is a sitting out area for visitors. An additional chair bed is available for increased occupancy.(3 people).

Spacious and comfortable. Well appointed. Shower has good temperature control, but no flow control - can be alarming for a while! Would not hesitate to return.

A great location for a quiet, relaxing break. A very well maintained cottage with the most detailed and helpful information pack I have yet to find. A lovely welcome pack/ hamper which was much appreciated after a long drive. The local village of Eyam has a number of quirky cafes/ craft & brewery courtyard and the Miners Arms who do good home made Read morefood. Clarice cottage was one of the best self catering units we have rented over the years. It was clean, spacious, well equipped and in a quiet location just outside of Eyam village.

Amazing and relaxing location! Walks right at your doorstep. Beautiful views of sheep whilst having a cup of tea on the patio. This was our first time renting a cottage and we will definitely be back! The village was interesting and you are too far out to explore the Peak District. A very beautiful cottage.

A charming cottage in a beautiful area. It had all the facilities for a comfortable stay. We did not have a problem with the narrow road, only meeting an oncoming car once in the 6 days we were there. WiFi and laundry were appreciated facilities we were not expecting.

Clarice cottage in Eyam is in a very quiet location, through a track road surrounded by fields, don't be surprised to see sheep and lambs walk past your window. Well equipped, clean and comfortable it was a perfect situation for exploring the Peak District.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Arriving on a November evening to find the cottahe warm, with the log burner laid ready for lighting, and a box of goodies (including a bottle of wine) was lovely. The location is ideal for walking and it's not too far to visit the very pleasant pub in Eyam. There are also two tea shops but we Read moredon't patronise them - maybe next time. Hide

Great location at end of long track from main village. Lots to do in Eyam and great walks all around. Cottage very warm and cosy, well equipped, and clean. Wi-Fi, whilst advertised, doesnt work, but we didnt go for that! Welcome hamper a nice touch. Clarice is the middle Cottage of three in the converted barn.
