A gable end cottage enjoying a wonderful position amidst 20 acres of beautiful grounds. Breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside and across the valley opposite give this property a great sense of space.

This delightful gable end cottage being one of three at this location is situated in 20 acres of the owner’s grounds enjoying far reaching views of the escarpments on the opposite side of the valley and beyond towards Chatsworth.

The village of Eyam is a short walk and offers some good facilities or travel further and enjoy the pretty market town of Bakewell and the surrounding villages. For the more adventurous you can walk or cycle the Monsal Trail along the old disused railway tracks which have recently been re-opened. Clementine PK743 Clara and PK744 Clarice cottages are at the same location. This cosy and spacious cottage enjoys the panoramic views of the area from both the ground and first floor.

You enter the cottage from the rear into the well and fully equipped kitchen dining and lounge (sofa bed suitable for occasional use) area that has a flagged limestone floor and a welcoming woodburner set in a beautiful Derbyshire stone fireplace. The lounge has double glazed doors on the gable opening onto a private patio area with views of the fields and the surrounding woodlands there is also a toilet and hand basin on the ground floor. The stairs lead to the first floor bedroom that has a feature oak beamed ceiling a king size double bed and an en suite shower room with shower cubicle hand basin and toilet. The patio garden area takes in the sun throughout most of the day. An additional sofa bed is available for increased occupancy (4 people) Please request bedding if you intend to use the sofa bed at time of booking. At the same location as Clara & Clarice Cottages.

Wonderful peaceful hideaway! This cosy little cottage is ideally placed to be remote enough for a quiet and scenic base from which to explore the Peak District yet within easy walking distance of both Eyam and Stoney Middleton.

We spent Christmas at Clementine Cottage and had a very happy time. It is close to the village of Eyam but felt more remote because it is higher up with views over the fields and moors. Clementine is the end section of a barn converted into three small properties yet still felt private and quiet. The cottage is clean and well-equipped and our frienRead moredly hosts left us a generous welcome pack. The location is excellent within easy reach of Chatsworth, the Peaks, Bakewell and we loved it. This cottage is situated up the end of a steep single lane path, not for the faint hearted driver. It is in a barn conversion and therefore does not have a pleasant appearance, just a view to the parked cars. The interior is very nice and well appointed apart from the kitchen equipment ie crockery etc. The views from the property are disappointing Read more, just some fields with a few sheep. You cannot see Chatsworth as mentioned unless you go along the road. The shop & pub are 25 mins away. Hide

Clementine cottage was perfect In every way. Clean, comfortable,spacious and really a home from home. Peaceful beautiful location ideal as a base to explore the Peak District...in a gorgeous village....we will be back.

The cottage is absolutely lovely with homely touches and beautifully equipped in an idyllic location. Although attached to another 2 cottages we could not hear anything from the other occupants. The cottage is a little way from the village but easily within walking distance. The rural location meant that the only noise was from the sheep bleating iRead moren the morning which was a welcome change from any traffic. For us this was just perfect. Hide

One of 3 lovely cottages in a renovated cowshed, set on a hillside in very peaceful surroundings. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you might need, making it a real home from home. A lovely touch with the welcome pack. The cottages overlook the fields, so you can have your breakfast on the patio next to the sheep and cows! The historic Read morevillage of Eyam is a 10 minute walk down the hill complete with tea rooms and a great pub. We loved it and will be back! Hide
