Accessed from the lawned garden area an external flight of stone steps takes you up into the open plan accommodation. This room is very spacious and benefits from floods of natural light a vaulted beamed ceiling deep window reveals and exposed stonework. The well-equipped kitchen features an old shop counter as a breakfast bar (please note there is also a separate dining table) while the lounge area is made cosy by a woodburner. A single step takes you up into the bedroom area with similar character vaulted ceiling and a super king size double bed ( this can be split into two 3’ single beds on request) - the en-suite bathroom has a shower cubicle, WC and hand basin. There is a sitting out area for guests across the lawned garden which takes in the panoramic views of the surrounding area.

We arrived to find a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, home made bread and apple cake which was most welcome and went down a treat! The cottage was comfortable, cosy and provided stunning views from all aspects. We loved it, cannot fault it and will certainly return again in the not too distant future.

Cloud loft is a beautiful home from home with magnificent views. Everything was thought out meticulously to the finest details. Fantastic views in a peaceful setting. Lovely food and drink gifts provided by the owners upon arrival. Cottage was well appointed and comfortable. Easy access to great walks in the peak district.
