Positioned on the Western fringe of the Peak National Park, the cottage offers guests an idyllic location for exploring the landscape on foot, or relaxing in the peaceful garden and taking in the rural surrounds.

The detached property is set in the grounds of the owners' property and is located in a quiet and peaceful valley.

This is an ideal base for visiting many of the attractions on the western edge of the Peak National Park. There are many excellent local walks not being far from The Roaches and Ramshaw Rocks.

The accommodation enjoys splendid views down the valley it is quite spacious which is apparent as you enter through the small hallway into the kitchen/dining area. Also on the ground floor is a shower room with electric shower and a separate cloakroom with toilet and hand basin. The stairs lead to the lounge which takes in the panorama of the surrounding area as do the bedrooms. The bedrooms are both of a good size each with their own hand basins one with a double bed the second with two single beds. There is a second bathroom on this floor with a bath hand basin and toilet. There is a patio and garden sitting out area from where you can enjoy the surrounding valley views. Pets welcome.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A cosy, well equipped and spotlessly clean cottage in a beautiful location. Perfect for four legged friends with many walks close to hand and views of ' Shutlingsloe ' from the garden. Close to the owners property but still private.

A pretty, comfortable and well-equipped cottage set in the most stunning scenery. Sadly we had car problems which shortened our stay but our kind hosts offered to drive us to a local takeaway so we didnt go hungry! Thank you.

Lovely cottage in a truly beautiful part of the country. Warm welcome from hosts John and Suzanne including home-made bread and preserves, and eggs from their free-range hens. The cottage is in a super location and furnished with everything that we needed. John and Sue's hospitality was excellent, suppling us with eggs, jams and flowers...what more could we want? Also great weather and several good local pubs for food.

A beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. Suzanne and Jon on hand if we needed anything. Every need catered for in the cottage. Kitchen very well equipped. Visited lots of places nearby. Buxton , Bakewell and Chesterfield to name a few. All lovely towns and some nice markets too. Would definitely visit again

Great holiday in a beautiful location. So much to do and see in the surrounding area. Very relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the views. Lots of walks straight from the door and 3 great country pubs within walking distance.

Clough Brook Cottage was a ideal for a family holiday away from our busy lives. Peaceful, with fabulous views, walks right from the doorstep. The cottage was very well equipped, the beds were comfy and the little welcoming touches made it a very special cottage.

Such a lovely place to stay, I can really recommend it. Its truly a home from home. Also, so nice to see the Inquisitive cows coming to greet you and to hear the chickens clucking from around the back. The homemade bread, jam and marmalade was a treat too as was the eggs. A lovely, get away from it all cottage. Friendly owners on site. Nice views and a couple of good pubs quite nearby. If self catering do stock up well en route as there's nowhere really local to shop.

This cottage is ideally situated in the most beautiful countryside, with unmatched views of the Derbyshire countryside. This cottage is situated in a great location with some good walks from the doorstep. The surrounding area is beautiful and has easy access to the main roads. There are five routes to leave the cottage and explore the Peak District from Ashbourne to Holmfirth. We enjoyed Macclesfield forest for the dog walks and Goyt Valley.
