Great location. Accommodation was user friendly, convenient and I loved the fact it had a piano, and plenty of books. The smart TV was perfect, with wi-fi so access to I-player etc. Power shower and bath with plenty of clean towels were enjoyed after our days out.

Just back from a wonderful week at the barn. We were lucky with the weather and the time of year: tiny lambs bouncing about everywhere. The location is idyllic, the barn is well equipped and very warm. The owners are helpful and welcoming. Perfect centre for walking and driving around the Peak District.

This is off the beaten track. We were looking for somewhere to drop off the radar, this was the ideal place for that. There is mobile wifi and a good 4g signal anyway. Comfortable barn cottage, well equipped. Good WiFi. Fantastic shower, loads of hot water. Had everything we needed. Friendly and helpful owners opposite. We stayed Christmas week - weather as you'd expect in High Peak at this time of year - wet! But ideal for a quiet, peaceful break, just reading and local walks. Recommended to arrive using a 4x4. Cottage great for autumn and winter when weather bad and you can lock yourself in and be cosy etc. Not so great for spring or summer as windows all high meaning cannot see out of cottage when in kitchen or living area. Nature of building of course. Outside not very private if using bbq etc
