This is a delightful cottage overlooking Dove Dale. The location is fantastic. North of the Alps, there can't be many better. It is ideal for two wanting a base for walking and cycling. There are walking paths from the front door and the excellent Tissington and High Peaks Trails can be accessed from Parsley Hay, five minutes up the road.

Dairy Croft was a great little cottage. It was very remote and you needed to go down some gated roads to get to it but it was well worth it for the views, the peace and quite and the good facilities. We enjoyed our week very much.

The cottage is located in a beautiful secluded valley. Perfect for access by car to Buxton and within easy reach of all areas or the Peak District National Park. Our stay was relaxing and with stunning walks on the doorstep you don't have to go far to emerse yourself in the stunning countryside. The week we chose happned to be the hottest... 30C foRead morer 5 out of the 7 days, and sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine as the sun set, was like being in the tuscan hills.. Lovely location miles well away from roads and towns. Ideal for those who want to commune with the hills and the silence (apart from the calls of the sheep), but still within easy reach of Bakewell, Buxton and Matlock.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped, perfect for my stay. I wanted to in the middle of nowhere and with the most idyllic view - it most definitely ticked both boxes. The view was stunning and although it felt remote, it actually is close to civilisation if you need it. A little gem - will definitely be back.

The cottage is set in a beautiful, quiet location. However this does not make up for the fact that the interior is looking dated and tired.
