We have stayed in many cottages and can honestly say that Dora's Cottage is among the very best. The cottage is very well equipped, more so than any other we have stayed in, and has been furnished with a lot of thought with some lovely little homely touches. The conservatory overlooks beautiful scenery, and even binoculars are provided. I cannot faRead moreult the cottage in any way and hope to return next year. Hide

The cottage is really, really lovely - it is spacious (bigger than the photos suggest), well-situated for Buxton, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Matlock and not too far from the Dark Peak, and has gorgeous views. It is so well-furnished and equipped that it feels like a home. We definitely hope to return to this wonderful cottage.

We went as family of 8 and 10 year old and we had a great time. Lots of space outside for children to play and they loved the swing. Brilliant location for walks, cycle hire and ride down Tissington Trail at home there were a selection of board games we never heard the words - I am bored

A superb cottage. Well located with stunning views and everything you'd need for an enjoyable holiday. Our boys (5 & 7) loved the garden and exploring the adjacent field plus there was plenty for them to do within easy reach to keep them occupied.
