Small but fantastic cottage with long-reaching views in a lovely location. Secure and gated garden, ideal for our 2 dogs, which has the sun all day and evening. Numerous wonderful walks direct from the cottage, and with Hartington and its lovely pubs just a couple of miles away.

Really enjoyed a few days away in this stunningly located cottage. Perfect to feel you are getting right away from it all because of the location. Fantastic views and walks from the door step. Convenient for places of interest in area. Definately hoping to re-book and enjoy again later in the year.

Excellent location!! Up a long private road hidden in the valleys surrounded in beautiful nature, with walks galore. Even with a remote location you could still access 3G/4G up the road a little if needed. But perfect to detox. Extremely close to the River Dove with plenty of walks. The cottage is situated 2 miles up a very uneven lane with a lot of potholes. The views are stunning though. The walk down to Hartington village takes about 40mins. As the cottage is a converted cowshed it retains a lot of the original features, in particular the exposed beams. The upstairs bedroom is probably not suited for taller people, particulRead morearly going up and down the stairs. Because of the rural location we left a light on at night, otherwise its pitch black and not to our liking! Hide

Beautiful little cottage. Views are amazing. Peaceful and private surrounded by fields. Close to Hartington which is a picturesque village with shops & pubs. We loved being able to go on some beautiful walks all from the doorstep without having to use the car.
