Being just on the border of Staffordshire just a short drive away from Alton Towers. To keep kids (of all ages!) happy you can take a dip in the heated swimming pool, have a knockabout on the football field or challenge your friends to a game of pool or table tennis. If you need a rest you can relax by taking a few moments to sit by the parks well-stocked fishing lake or enjoy a pint from the on-site brewery. You couldn’t be more perfectly located for exploring the most attractive areas of Derbyshire and the Peak District National Park. Enjoy the many walks nearby, cycle on the Tissington Trail right from the site.
Walking into this traditional cottage the fitted oak kitchen/diner offers an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave with seating for four around the dining table, enjoy lazy breakfasts here planning the activities for the day ahead. Moving through to the cosy lounge with comfortable sofas you will find hard to leave which surrounded an electric effect wood burner and TV/DVD for comfortable evenings spent relaxing. The sofa doubles up as a double sofa bed providing extra bed space if needed for larger parties. On the first floor there is a main bedroom with double bed and second bedroom with single bed both decorated with traditional matching pine furniture and subtle fabrics decorating the beds. There is a bathroom with bath and WC.
Outside the cottage is an enclosed garden with outdoor seating for four. This is located in the heart of the park with nearby children’s play facilities which will go down a storm with the kids, the perfect place to enjoy a cold drink in the summer sun. There is off-road parking available for two cars.
