A lovely cottage for two people. Very well appointed with everything of a good quality. The goodies the owner left were a lovely surprise. We would recommend the cottage.

We found the cottage to be compact, clean and cosy. Position was such that providing no other cars were parked by the cottage that unloading, loading was fine. We found the bed to be comfortable although the green light from the smoke detector in the ceiling was quite bright ! The microwave is a low wattage(500 w) and therefore we had to adjust forRead more the timings to heat food as most instructions are for 800w or 900 w. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you! Hide

Ashford in the Water is a very pretty village. At the time of our visit, due to coronavirus. there was only one pub open, even the local shop was closed. It is very well situated to some beautiful walks and scenery. We would certainly go again.

What a lovely cottage and very nice owners who came around to show us how to use things as well as a fantastic welcome pack. The village location is excellent with a short walk to everything, some really good long walks around and the bus stops within a few yards. There is a lot going on in the area and this cottage is ideally placed.

We were met at the property by the owners, who were very friendly and helpful. Initial impressions were that the cottage was warm and cosy, with efficient central heating as well as an attractive gas fire for a quick boost if you needed it. In the kitchen was a lovely little welcome basket, with tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate, with a bottle ofRead more milk in the fridge, as well as a vase of fresh flowers. We loved it, wouldnt hesitate to go again and thoroughly recommend you visit! Hide
