A rural Eden situated on the edge of the pretty Hope Valley, guests staying at this cottage will enjoy a wealth of outdoor fun and exploration, including exploring caves and walking the challenging Pennine Way.

Ideally positioned for making the most of the great outdoors and the spectacular landscape of the Dark Peak, the cottage is a delightful property with the nearby villages of Hathersage and Hope offering local amenities, including Hope railway station which makes this cottage easily accessible by both rail and road. Guests can explore the Blue John Mines, caves or simply take a stroll through the village and enjoy the goings on of village life.

Entering the cottage, guests will find themselves in a cosy hallway that leads into an open-plan lounge and kitchen-diner that contains all the essentials. For those who want to dine out, the Samuel Fox restaurant is just 300 yards from the property. Relax in the lounge and unwind with a DVD after a day spent outdoors in the rugged landscape of the Dark Peak.  The bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite shower room with a toilet and hand basin that perfectly completes this charming cosy cottage.

The charming open space is bright and airy from the double doors that lead out onto a south facing seating area which enjoys all day sunshine and charming views across the stable yard. A BBQ and outdoor furniture make this a great spot for al fresco dining on a warm evening.

The property is nestled amidst the owner’s grounds giving it privacy and security, with off road parking located adjacent to the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We had a wonderful time staying at Eden Tree Cottage. The property is immaculate and everything you would need has been thought of and provided. Of all the cottages in the Peak District we have rented this has been the best no question. Looking forward to returning next year.

Easy to find with the directions provided with booking. Well-stocked with household needs. Quiet location, horses dont disturb you at all. Bed very comfortable! Outside the village so no shop within walking distance but supermarket in Hope is not far. Well-placed for visiting the surrounding area in all directions.

Had a lovely break and would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. The owners are very helpful without being at all intrusive. The horses were lovely , the local area is beautiful for walking dogs ,overall a really relaxing peaceful break .

The cottage is in a relatively quiet location, opposite to a caravan camp site which had little impact re traffic or noise to cottage residents, and its geographic location make it ideal for access to other parts of the Peak District.

The property was exactly as advertised, it was comfortable, clean and fully equipped, and we did not experience any problems during our stay. The Owner was on hand if required, but did not intrude in any way. Being close to the horses was great!
