Cosy two bedroom cottage which is ideal for couples and small families. The cottage provides a good base to explore the Peak District and its countryside splendour with many attractions close by.

Situated close to the old pretty market town of Wirksworth, the property is a great choice for guests looking to spend a day meandering through the variety of local shops, cafes and restaurants of this historic Peak District town. For walkers, the nearby High Peak Trail provides an excellent starting point for a challenging hike through this spectacular part of the world. Nearby Carsington Water boasts a variety of scenic walks around the reservoir and beyond. Why not try a spot of kayaking, cycling, sailing or fishing

The cottage has a handy entrance porch which is the perfect place to kick of muddy boots and over coats. Stepping through into the lounge/diner with a sofa and chair, TV/DVD and a wood burner effect electric fire. The dining space is there if you decide to resist from the pubs and restaurants within the area. The cosy kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, washer/dryer and microwave. Upstairs the master bedroom offers a double bed and ample hanging space for clothes. The smaller second bedroom offers a single bed and chest of drawers. The upstairs shower room features a shower and WC with original resorted overhead wooden cistern.

To the rear of the cottage is a small courtyard space and outside WC. Leading up a few steps is the hidden gem of the wildlife garden which has grass, trees and wildflower. This is a great space to enjoy a well deserved drink after a day walking the hills. Off-road parking for one car.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

With the pub about 50 yards from the front door the location was ideal for meal times.

Fuchsia Cottage is in an ideal location for the High peak trail and loads of walks and only a short drive away from many attractions.
