Well located cottage for exploring the High Peak. Internally the cottage is a little tired, but with a facelift, provides good sized accommodation for four to six people.

Lovely cottage great location for walks, one of the ensuite bathroom couldn't be used properly as the macerater was so noisey it would wake the rest of cottage up. Parking was a bit akward and was asked to move from several locations by the locals for one reason or another and with a toddler shopping etc parking round the corner down the road couldRead more be worse of you have a party with several cars. Local pub hardly open but there was a couple within a mile or two or Hathersage a few miles more. Hide

Lovely cottage, very well equipped kitchen and cosy lounge area although not enough seating for 6 without bringing in another chair. Great to have showers/bath for all rooms especially when 3 couples.

We had a great weekend at the cottage. Everything we could have wanted was provided. There was plenty of room for the six of us. The bedrooms were a good size and having a bathroom for each room meant no long waits for showers in the morning. Would definitely recommend this cottage for it's position and facilities.

property was well placed, great village and local pub. Hope is only 3 miles away with some great restaurants, as is Hathersage. Had some issues with the heating at the property and it was a pity no firewood was present on the site.

We had the most wonderful time at the cottage, it had everything we needed and more. The pictures do not do this wonderful place justice, the extra snug lounge is great for children and an exploring todler. A stunning location and we are already thinking about booking for next year. Thank you to the hosts as well who were incredible helpful.

Fantastic location for exploring and the kitchen was really well equipped. Great TV, broadband too. Stairs are a bit steep which may be a problem for those with mobility issues. Easy parking outside.

Glen House is superb. Lovely location, well equipped and with enough rooms to fit in our family and still have a separate snug for the kids to relax and watch TV.

really well thought out cottage - for us, the availability of Netflix and BT was excellent as we are already users, so could continue wit our watching choices. The kitchen was really well appointed and a great size for cooking for four adults - often the kitchen is too small for the number of people able to stay. This is a lovely bijou cottage in a good location. It is clean and very well equipped . The only thing missing from it is a garden as the space at the back is very overlooked and has no table and chairs in it. We 5 had a very pleasant few days stay .

Had a lovely holiday. It was great to have the utility room to dry off wet dogs. If you want a nearby walk with dogs go up Joan Lane and there is a field on your left with a public footpath running through it. A great cottage if you are a climber as Bamford Edge and Stanage Edge are nearby
