Nice, comfortable, warm cottage ideal for a winter break. There is no garden and it is quite dark inside which would impact a summer holiday.

I will save my review until someone has contacted me to explain why it was necessary to enter the property and disturb us on 3 occasions in 5 days! I suffer with anxiety and was hoping for a relaxing break. Instead I felt on edge the whole time.

Lovely location - views in Bamford were stunning. Disappointing that there was no garden outside. Gate to the door was rotten and left lots of splinters.

Clean, well equipped cottage in a great location.

Glen House was in a peaceful location, opposite a primary school on holiday for Easter. Lovely walks from the house, very good for a cycle round the Howden and Derwent dams from the hire centre. Nearby to all the Blue John Mines, very interesting to visit with lots of cafes in Castleton.
