Holloway is a lovely village with a coffee shop and a couple of stores, surrounded by walking and cycling routes. Head into the Peak District National Park and visit the trails that take walkers through the fells and tors. Visit the diverse landscape of Dovedale Nature Reserve (19 miles), which has woodland, rock formations and a river running through it. Those who love the water can head to Carsington Water (10.5 miles) for kayaking, paddleboarding or fishing.
