Tideswell is one of the Peak District's most popular picturesque villages and makes an excellent base for walking, cycling and exploring the area, with fantastic amenities to enjoy such as pubs, shops, cafes and independent retailers. The village of Tideswell is also known for its annual Well Dressing with carnivals, and parades, as well as a food festival every year. The delightful spa town of Buxton and Chatsworth House are both within a 12-mile drive, while Mam Tor and Castleton are both 8 miles’ drive. The charming town of Bakewell, 10 miles, is a must-visit as it is home to the famous Bakewell Pudding and is a great place to explore.
