The cottage was lovely and cosy, the perfect size for two and a dog. The cooking facilities were very good (oven, touch hob, lots of good pots and pans etc.) We enjoyed the variety of circuit walks on the door step. To get into Wirksworth its a very pretty walk through the fields, which was ideal for food shopping. Wirksworth has a very useful & weRead morell stocked co-op, as well as a nice little butchers, and lots of pubs. The Peak district is a short drive away, along nice country roads. Hide

The location is absolutely stunning, the views are amazing. We took our dog and there were some beautiful walks. We have a 4x4 which was great for some of the steep and narrow roads around the village. The cottage its self was very clean, cosy and had everything we needed. The host was great and the little extras made the holiday special
