Lovely comfortable, but basic cottage. Lovely beds, linen, towels, sofas and bathroom with loads of hot water which was appreciated. Heating also very good if needed. The cottage is perfectly located for exploring the Peak District with fabulous community facilities and great pubs on the doorstep. The cottage is a little tired and in need of some TRead moreLC, but for the price and pluses, still a comfortable stay. Hide

A lovely little cottage in the perfect location. The decor was in need of updating, however it was well equipped and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable with nice crisp bed linen. Also a great shower and nice large thick fluffy towels. Would definitely return.

The cottage is bright and larger than it looks in the advert, it's white throughout and not overly decorative. (ideal if you have small children). There is a small patio garden which was lovely except that there is a path running along the houses directly to the park or the lane, so great for older children, but little ones would need supervision TRead morehe beds and settees were comfortable and you could seat 6 around the dining table. It's in an ideal location for local sights and I would book again. Hide

This is a comfy, homely cottage which is very clean and smart. It is brilliantly placed for country walks from the front door or for Pub meals you can walk to. Very convenient for great days out at Chatsworth or a bike ride or just enjoying the view as you lay in bed in the morning. Felt a very safe place too during this tricky time of pandemic.
