We had a wonderful stay, loved the village and surroundings and plan to return with our bikes. Loved Manifold Cottage tucked away, very peaceful and also enjoyed our favourite Netflix shows in the evening!

Great location for a night away. Dog friendly which is amazing. Small but pretty and a nice bedroom. I would recommend coming here and having a night in one of the local pubs.

A comfortable cottage in a central location in the village. The bed was very large and extremely comfortable!

The cottage is perfectly situated in the centre of Hartington. It's just about the right size for 2 people and a dog, and comfortable with everything you might need. There are two small shops close by, tea rooms and a pub. What more could you ask for?

A spacious and well equipped cottage, in a fabulous location in the centre of a lovely village. While being close to everything the village has to offer it is still quiet and secluded. The cottage is in a fantastic location, with good walks, pub, cafes and groceries on the doorstep. It is a lovely light space and quite well equipped. The WiFi was good. I used it for work and to watch TV on iplayer. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. There was everything I needed, and although some equipment is a little tireRead mored, everything worked. The only glitch was that someone was using the cottage parking space for a couple of days. The cottage is in a fantastic location for exploring the Peak District. The bathroom and bedroom are fine with a large and comfy bed. The other rooms are a bit tired and need a good clean and smartening up. Note that the bicycle storage is not secure if you are bringing bikes!

Nicely situated for walks in the area. The walk alongside the River Dove is stunning. The cottage is well equipped for a couple and boasts a really comfortable bed. Make sure you remember the key box number before arrival as mobile phone reception in the area is patchy and you cant rely on your phone for checking information.

The location is fantastic. The directions say 'opposite the tea rooms' but it isn't. The key lock is very awkward to use. The car parking is only accessible for very small cars - we parked in the road after struggling to manoeuvre our A6. The sofa is a bit tired and the downstairs could do with a refresh.
