Well proportioned and fully equipped home from home set in really interesting little village with stunning views and walks. Pub three minutes down the road serving excellent food should you not wish to self-cater. Perfect for a short stay and would thoroughly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Mill Cottage. Everything was super clean and well equipped. The location was great, set in a fascinating historic village and within easy reach of beautiful scenery and good pubs. This was our first visit to the Peak District and there was so much to do, we would love to come again!

Lovely little cottage in a fantastic location, so many places to visit without having to travel far. Cottage is well equipped with a full freezer, dishwasher etc. However, it would have been nice to have a decent sized bath towel and the addition of some hand towels. Beds were very comfortable which is more than can be said of the furniture in the Read moresitting room! TV is small, could do with a slightly bigger one. Parking is on a first come first serve basis and can be tight at times. Hide

Great location in a lovely friendly village with excellent beautiful surrounding walks. The maps were really useful, thank you. The cottage had everything we needed and was well equipped. It was really good to have somewhere to park our car in what is understandably a popular place. We were really lucky to have excellent weather, and it was nice toRead more have our own space at the back for a morning coffee. Hide

We had a lovely week at this property - immaculately clean, quaintly located and very cozy. We really enjoyed the town, the nature walks immediately outside the house, and the proximity to other tourist destinations. If you stay in this house be sure to check out the Coolstone restaurant nearby. Thank you!
