Light the wood burner in here and make a fresh pot of coffee or prepare a tasty meal, with fresh, local Derbyshire produce, for everyone to enjoy at the table. Wander on through into the lounge, where a second wood burner is situated. Stoke this one up too, find a film on TV then relax on the comfortable seating while the fire crackles in the background. Make your way up to the first floor at the end of each fun-filled day. Discover a king-size room, with an en-suite bathroom and a ladder up to a mezzanine level. There is also a double bedroom, with en-suite shower room. Enjoy breakfast out in the courtyard garden to the front of the property. Find parking is on the road, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Stroll less than 250m from home to find yourselves in the southern part of the Peak District, with its incredible scenery. The cottage was in a great location and comfortably furnished. It is furnished to accommodate 4 adults, but is really only big enough for a couple.

Well placed for walking. Lovely village with two good pubs and a small shop. Parking is on road - we had two cars and never had an issue. Lack of a garden but small space at front adequate. I would recommend for location and good value for money. I wouldnt like to see the price ruse too much.

The cottage is well located for all local attractions. Bonsall village is a lovely village with everything you would need, cafe, shop, and pubs and very friendly locals. The cottage is at the top of the village and is clean, cosy and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable - it is like home from home. They had two bowls, a bed, some treats andRead more toys left for our dog which was a lovely touch. We would recommend The only small negative to the cottage was there was no recycling facilities. We stayed 7 nights at the property and didn't realise it doesn't have washing facility. We spent half day to go to laundrette and found there was no indoor clothes airer provided. Its our fifth annual cottage holiday and the first time we came across a property without washing facilities and basic essential for drying clothes. We have requested folRead moredable indoor clothes airer on our 5th day and we were promised to provide one but didnt get it until we left the cottage. Hide

Our second stay at Misty Edge. Very comfortable and well appointed cottage. Perfect for up to 4 guests. Although just two of us this time. Very friendly neighbourhood and easy to park on the main road. Ideal location for visiting the Peak District and wonderful walks nearby.

The cottage was furnished and equipped to a very high standard, it was very roomy and an added bonus was that both bedrooms were ensuite. The kitchen was fully fitted, and there were wood burners in both rooms, although as we were visiting in a heat wave we did not use them. The villagers we met were friendly and welcoming and the pub The Kings HeaRead mored was a short stroll down the high Street with an ideal menu. There were walks close to the cottage. Hide

What a lovely cottage, tastefully furnished with beautiful linen and towels. The bedrooms were spacious for a small cottage and the fact that each bedroom had an en suite bathroom was a bonus. The wood burners in both the kitchen/dining and lounge area were well used and kept the whole cottage warm and cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a really nice house which is perfect for exploring the area in a beautiful village with lovely cafe and pub within walking distance. The house is cosy and we were able to light a fire in the log burner. The kitchen is the most well equipped I've seen in any holiday rental and if I'd been staying longer I would have been happy to cook properRead more meals in it. The beds were super comfy which was great after a long day of hiking. Hide

Thank you so very much for a wonderful stay at Misty Edge. It was perfect fog my husbands 50th birthday, especially as the weather was perfect all week. Very cosy and comfortable, especially the beds. The only thing I think is needed is some mesh across the gate, as our dog escaped out onto the road and a car had to suddenly stop! There are quite bRead moreig gaps in the gate which lead straight on to the road which can be busy at times and cars go quite fast. Many thanks x Hide
