This cottage enjoys a delightful position on the edge of the pretty village of Monyash. Excellent walking and cycling trails through the Peak District are just a stone’s throw from the cottage.

This is one of five cottages at this location once redundant farm buildings and now providing high quality accommodation in a picturesque rural setting on the edge of the village of Monyash. There are good walks from your doorstep or hire a bike and cycle the nearby Tissington Trail from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne. If you enjoyed that then try the Manifold Trail along the disused railway lines.

Entry is into the open plan lounge dining and kitchen area which is fully equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay. The stairs lead to the first floor and the good sized bedroom which is in the eaves of the building it has a double bed and a sloping ceiling that adds to its charm. There is an en suite fully tiled bathroom; it has a bath with a shower over toilet and hand basin.

There is shared use of the gardens to the front of the cottages which enjoy the sun throughout most of the day and into the early evening.

The cottage is one of five in this location. When booked together, the cottages sleep up to 16 people.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A lovely characterful cottage, very comfortable and well equipped. In addition, very dog friendly. On arrival, there was milk in the fridge, yummy biscuits and some dog treats. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Peak District with easy access to Bakewell, Buxton and local beauty spots.
