This cottage enjoys a delightful position on the edge of the pretty village of Monyash. Excellent walking and cycling trails through the Peak District are just a stone’s throw from the cottage.

This is one of five cottages at this location once redundant farm buildings and now providing high quality accommodation in a picturesque rural setting on the edge of the village of Monyash. There are good walks from your doorstep or hire a bike and cycle the nearby Tissington Trail from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne. If you enjoyed that then try the Manifold Trail along the disused railway lines.

Entry is into the open plan lounge dining and kitchen area which is fully equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay. The stairs lead to the first floor and the good sized bedroom which is in the eaves of the building it has a double bed and a sloping ceiling that adds to its charm. There is an en suite fully tiled bathroom; it has a bath with a shower over toilet and hand basin.

There is shared use of the gardens to the front of the cottages which enjoy the sun throughout most of the day and into the early evening.

The cottage is one of five in this location. When booked together, the cottages sleep up to 16 people.

Very nice cottage with comfortable modern facilities. Met our expectations and more. Nicely situated for all the local attractions and for walking . The property was very dog friendly and we enjoyed a pleasant first holiday with our dog. No complaints just a lovely week.

The sofa is a bit tired .An extra armchair in sitting area would have given more versatility.Otherwise all as described and perfect for 2 people.

A very well presented farm holiday cottage. Excellent location and easy access to walks, trails and places to eat. Can recommend the Tagg Lane Dairy for ice cream and coffee.

The cottage was in a great location. It was only a short distance to Bakewell , Chatsworth and Buxton and the Monsal Trail was a 10 minute walk away. There was good seating in the garden and lovely views.

The cottage is situated adjacent to a dairy farm and near the farm shop. It is very well equipped and comfortable. Monyash, Bakewell, Chatsworth are within easy reach and the Tissington Trail can be walked from the car parks at Hartington Station, Parsley Hay or Hurdlow. The owners made the cottage very welcoming.

Set in an ideal location for us to get out and about. Could you consider adding the Hydro cafe in Buxton and Angel Inn Holmesfield to places to eat. This is because as a ceoliac these places provide good and generous gluten free meals.

The cottage was lovely With the enclosed large garden a bonus. We travelled with relatives who had the cottage next door it was great to be able to let the dogs run around knowing they were safe. Everything was very dog friendly with treats for the dogs and the garden was very neat too. Plenty of garden furniture to use if you have the weather to eRead moreat outside.
