Also worth visiting is the nearby market town of Bakewell, a great spot for meandering through the various cafes and shops. The historical spa town of Buxton has an opera house and theatre for those guests looking for a bit of culture. Within easy reach of some spectacular walking routes through the surrounding countryside and rock-climbing spots, including Curbar Edge and Stanage Edge.
