Cottage itself was perfect, so cosy and lovely. It wasn't very well cleaned, a lot of dog hair on the floor, and we didn't get the basket of logs as promised. But fantastic place to stay, and the Bull's Head pub has great food and very welcoming staff, which is very close by. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here for a week. It's a cute little place with an excellent location. Both pubs in the village are good and the local shop stocks a lot of things you might need including good sausages and oatcakes. The owner of this property was nice, helpful and gave us fresh towels half way through the week. Its kitchen area is small and no outdoor spaRead morece but if you don't mind that, it's a lovely place to stay. We loved our time here and would stay there again. Shower is really good! Hide

The location is perfect. It is a pity that you can't sit outside. It is a very small house, so with a few extra things the owner can make it more comfortable.

Clean & quiet with lots of entertainment not to far away. An ideal spot if you want a place to rest with no rushing around and later start in the morning.

It's just the most lovely cottage, in a beautiful part of the world. We had a fantastic time. The stairs might be a bit tricky if you're well over 6 foot, but we're both around 5'8" so we were fine!

When we arrived, the log fire was lit, and some lamps were on, which was a nice touch. The downside was that the central heating never achieved its full heat, in spite of the owner getting a plumber to check it. Otherwise it was sufficiently well equipped, and very thoughtfully lit. The location in the village is perfect. All in all, a good choice Read morefor a couple. Hide
