We had a lovely stay and Shelly and Steve were great hosts. The cottage was perfect for us and our 7 year old twin sons - they loved the outside area, especially the play equipment and space to play football. Inside the cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the local area.

Sweet little cottage, well placed to see all of the Peak District. Friendly hosts and everything you need in the cottage, a home from home. Ideal if you have dogs, you can walk straight out of the cottage to a nearby forest with lots of routes to stroll around.

Good location for using as a base. Lovely scenery although lanes were very rocky and steep if you were only walking close by. Well equipped cottage but not much there to keep kids entertained outside. From the photographs didnt realise the cottage was attached to the main house so there was a bit of low noise obviously from both sides which in our Read morecase set the dogs off barking. Lovely visit for a short break. Hide

The old dairy farm house was a lovely retreat, cozy yet spacious. It was very clean and the well appointed kitchen made it easy to cook meals in. Beds were very comfortable and the linens were all fresh.

Lovely cosy cottage, log burner and enclosed garden. Owners were lovely too. Plenty of walks from the front door and no traffic noise or street lights, bliss. Will definitely book again.
