This was our second visit to this cottage as we so enjoyed our previous visit. The cottage is in an ideal location to access many local walks and bike rides on the Tissington, High Peak and Monsal Trails. The cottage is maintained to a high standard and ensures a very comfortable stay. The welcome pack of gifts was a lovely touch. This is a very well equipped and comfortable cottage for two people in a village with good facilities e.g 3 pubs, village shop and post office. It also benefits from off road parking which is a real bonus as most parking for cottages in the village is on the roads. None, a very nice cottage. Close to the road but you can't do anything about that.

Excellent cottage for a couple, clean, modern and spacious. The location is excellent in that the village is lovely in itself and Youlegreave is central for everything in the Peak District. Three pubs to eat in without driving, the Farmyard Inn well excels the other two. Beautiful walks from the doorstep. Parking in the drive and although the propeRead morerty has little private outside sitting area, this seemed of little importance with the whole of the Peak Distict around you. Hide

We thought this was the perfect house in the perfect location. It is a very pretty cottage and the owners had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The village has 3 good pubs and 2 well stocked shops. The countryside around was stunning for walking or cycling.

A cosy, well presented cottage in an ideal location for our exploration of the White Peak area. Local amenities - shop, pubs etc., were useful. We particularly enjoyed the friendliness of the people of Youlgrave. Passing farm traffic could be a little noisy at times.

Great cottage with some lovely welcome treats in a fantastic location, village as 3 pubs but can recommend the bull & farmyard inn if you are looking to eat out, best to book first both very popular. Stonemasons cottage Defo one to go back too.

A truly lovely cottage, we felt at home and very welcome from the moment we walked in (welcome treats, heating on...). It's well laid out, well finished and well equipped (with the comfiest bed!). The owners put a lot of thought into making it perfect for our holiday, even providing a snow shovel. We will be recommending to anyone visiting the PeakRead more District and hope to return ourselves! Worth noting that the cottage does sit parallel to the main village road but this didn't bother us at all. Hide
