Superbly modernised cottage. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and lovely relaxing back room with door to garden. Amazing patio with furniture, BBQ and fire pit. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend. Go to the Beehive at Combs for a meal - brilliant, but do book ahead as they are very busy.

This is a perfect modernisation of a small terrace cottage that is bigger than it looks in the photos. Artwork and furniture not to our taste but the cooling tile floor downstairs was most welcome in the heatwave. There is a little traffic noise from the B road outside but much more from the busy A6 just across the valley. Excellent property and location. We arrived and were very impressed with the cottage as a whole. It was clean, comfortable and homely. We were at the property for a week and it really felt like a second home. Good location quiet area, accommodation has good mod cons and a very nice enclosed patio area We booked mainly for walking the dog and there are loads of places close by for walking your dog As for as the cost/amenities etc could not fault it, would give it a good 8 out of 10

The property was lovely and cosy and beutufully done, very clean and comfortable, with everything you need. A nicer village pub would be good, the navigation wasn't too good, the bar man and lad that brought out food were very scruffy dressed so really put me off. Plenty of places to drive to though.

Lovely cottage, perfect for a relaxing few days with the dog. On nice days we sat in the garden & it was cosy enough just to watch a film inside when the weather wasn't so great. Few nice pubs within walking distance that are dog friendly & do good food. Lyme Park is a short drive away & we had a lovely walk there & nice lunch.
