A former toy shop, this property has a wonderful history and enjoys an idyllic position in the popular village of Ringinglow surrounded by beautiful open countryside and close to the gateway of the Peak District National Park.

The village of Ringinglow is ideally situated for visiting some of the area’s best attractions. For those looking to explore the surrounding countryside there are numerous walks nearby, or if guests are seeking something out of this world, the nearby National Space Centre is worth a visit. Although the cottage is a rural idyll, the vibrant cities of Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester are within easy reach and offer a great array of shops, theatres and restaurants.

The charming cottage embraces open-plan living with a spacious kitchen-diner and lounge that’s equipped with all the essentials that guests require during their stay. If eating out is on the agenda, the local village pub is just one mile from the property.

The cottage’s lounge area offers a lovely seating area for relaxing and making the most of the full entertainment system which includes Sky televisions and DVDs - perfect after a day spent outdoors. The lounge also has a sofa bed for occasional use. There is a cosy cottage bedroom with a king size bed which can be separated to create two singles if required. The property has a fully tiled bathroom with a shower, toilet and hand basin.

Outside there is a small patio area to the front of the property with a cottage garden that’s perfect for unwinding and drinking in the views across the Mayfield Valley.

Such a lovely cottage, on the edge of the Peak district. Walking right from the cottage, or drive a while to fantastic walks and villages. Coffee shop almost next door, with animal encounters with llamas!!. Pub with great food a few doors away. Really quiet, day and night. Such a comfy cottage, with everything you could possibly need. We had a lovely relaxing week staying here! Noelle was really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was of the highest standard in every way and we couldnt have asked for more! We will be returning again in the future.

This is a delightful little cottage, a bit like Mary Poppins carpet bag, it provides a lot in a little space. We were impressed with how well designed the use of space was, with plenty of room to pop/hang clothes etc and all that we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed walking in this area of the Peaks by day and accessed several great eating Read moreplaces in the evenings within a short distance ( suiting both our needs as a meat eater/ vegan couple!) The cottage was small but perfectly formed..the standard of equipment was excellent..very clean and the bath robes were a nice touch, even though we didn't use them..would definitely book again..there are several excellent walks locally.

Fantastic, cosy cottage just perfect for the two of us. Everything we needed for a romantic weekend. Snow and blizzards all weekend but the location was fabulous and the pub just around the corner server the most amazing food. I loved this little place and look forward to another visit in summer.

This is a quirky cottage. The owners have made a great use of the space to ensure its a home away from home with all of the modern conveniences whilst maintaining a country feel. The property was clean and in a great location for exploring Sheffield and the Peak District.
