Surrounded by the Heart of England’s beautiful countryside and with nothing but the sound of grazing cows to wake up to each morning, this property is the perfect base for a small group hoping to escape to the country. Equipped with a farmhouse-inspired range oven and a generous kitchen table, this space is your go-to spot for plotting walking routes and planning out days ahead, all over a hearty meal, of course. Continue through into the lounge where French doors lead out to the patio and let light flood in. Located on the brink of the famous Peak District National Park (3 miles), you’ll never find yourself short of glorious walks and hikes throughout your stay. Whilst in the area, be sure to visit Matlock (2 miles), a traditional town with the River Derwent running through as well as plenty of amenities. For an unbeatable day out, be sure to visit nearby Chatsworth House (9 miles) and explore its history, pretty gardens and delightful parklands.

What a warm, cosy beautifully furnished cottage. The farm is lovely and welcoming and the cottage is just perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples. The under floor heating was amazing. Beautiful, spacious bedrooms with a well equipped kitchen and a very welcoming bottle of Home Farm milk with a yummy home baked cake. Very highly recommended.

Rolling Mill is perfect for families. Our kids absolutely loved being on the farm. The Gate Inn pub is a five minute walk which offers a great play park for the kids and the food is great. Youre never more than 50 mins from anywhere in the peaks and Matlock is quite literally 5 mins drive. The cottage is modern and well equipped. We cooked at the cRead moreottage a few nights to save money. There is a large AGA, Dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer. All you need. I can highly recommend this cottage. Hide

A lovely place to stay. The cottage was stunning and had everything we needed. So much to do we unfortunately didn't get chance to view the farm and join in milking. There was cake on arrival and some provisions. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Would highly recommend the local falls walk and the gate inn. We will definitely stay again.
