Found at the centre of the lively Peak District town of Bakewell, this ground floor apartment is well placed for all the local amenities like shops, cafes, restaurants and the well-known Bakewell Pudding Bakery. Enjoy some peaceful walks around the town and along the River Wye that runs through the heart of Bakewell. The Peak District has many places of interest to visit for the young and old. The Chatsworth House is within driving distance and is one of the most picturesque and famous country estates in the north of England. Also, visit Haddon Hall and Buxton for more history and culture. Trekkers and cyclists can enjoy the Tissington, Monsal and High Peak trails, with many also being suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs too.

The roomy apartment comprises an open-plan design that presents the kitchen, lounge and dining space all on one level. The kitchen area is well-equipped with storage cabinets, a large fridge/freezer and washing machine. The spacious dining and lounge area comes complete with comfortable sofas, one of which converts into a double sofa bed, Smart TV with DVD player and desk with access to the garden to enjoy summer days and evenings. The first bedroom is tastefully decorated with a double bed, fitted wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom with enclosed shower, bath, sink and WC. The second bedroom is similarly decorated and contains another double bed with a bedside table. Also on the same floor is the bathroom with enclosed shower, sink and WC.

Outside there is a pretty garden to the front of the property, with a large patio. Some seclusion is offered by trees on the plot.

Excellent location with a parking space ( extremely important in such a busy town). Very comfortable furniture in the sitting room. Great to have two bathrooms.

What a lovely, comfortable, convenient apartment & the car parking made it perfect! Exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Large very comfortable sitting room & dining area. We really enjoyed our stay

We had a wonderful time in Bakewell. The property was in an excellent location and the parking space was a huge bonus. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this property as a lovely base to explore the Peak District.

Excellent location in a lovely town. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped and the host was very helpful. Lots of choice of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs within easy walking distance. Keep and eye out for the guy on the market selling olives, garlic etc., they were delicious. We would certainly revisit this delightful property.

Very good location just a few minutes walk from the centre of Bakewell. Parking space was very handy. Cottage was comfortable and homely. An excellent base for sightseeing and walking.

Our second visit to Rutland Mews. Again we found it to be clean and very comfortable. Ideally located, only a few minutes level walk to the town centre and a quiet location given its proximity to town. Pleasant courtyard for finer days, and one allocated parking space. Few minutes walk along the river to the park. Market day on Mondays worth a visiRead moret. Woodyard restaurant also only a few minutes walk. Booking recommended. The apartment is in afantastic location with just a few minutes walk into Bakewell but is also very peacefull.The layout ,all on one level with two doubles and two bathrooms suited us along with the private parking.We were always warm and cosy despite it being a cold week,I know the ownners stay there themselves so always keep on top of things.

This apartment had a lovely cottagey feel to it. Cosy and big enough for 4 people comfortably. Well equipped, everything worked well, ie wi-fi, heating, etc. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms was a real bonus. Beds were comfy, . The quite Mews, was lovely and so near to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. We even managed lunch in the suRead morenny garden on a couple of occasions. Great place to stay. Hide
