This country property features a modern interior with clean lines, geometric tiling, and light-flooded social spaces. Ease achy feet out of boots in the hallway then pad in the lounge. Flop down on the large sofas amongst the scatter pillows and sip a pre-dinner tipple. Adorn the dining table with indulgent dishes, raise your glasses, then settle in for a celebratory feast bathed in the natural light streaming from the patio door. Unwind with a classic film on the Smart TV while the kids slink away to the snug for a movie marathon. For those seeking solidarity, the separate reading room is the perfect nook for curling up with a steaming brew and your favourite book. Whip up a hearty breakfast spread in the spacious farmhouse kitchen and perch at the glossy island with a cup of coffee. Ascend the staircase to discover a selection of well-presented kings and doubles overlooking Bunster Hill or Thorpe Cloud – two of which are en-suite. Scramble to the top of Thorpe Cloud, 1 mile, to snap a blustery victory photo atop the summit then settle in for a picnic with sweeping countryside vistas. After your adventures, head for a slap-up pub lunch in the limestone village of Thorpe, 1 mile. Biking enthusiasts and leisurely cyclists can embark on a scenic ride along the traffic-free converted railway line of Tissington Trail, 4 miles, to enjoy miles of rolling emerald landscapes and snaking stonewalling.
