Located in the village of Great Longstone close to the jaw-dropping scenery of Millers Dale, this cottage is packed with home comforts right down to the crackling wood burner. The Peak District National Park is on your doorstep, so bring your bikes and walking boots and prepare to tackle some seriously impressive trails through the unique landscape.

Tastefully styled with a contemporary edge, the property sleeps six and is expertly tailored to relaxing. Comfortable sofas in the lounge, a chic kitchen/diner with an array of equipment and three attractive bedrooms provide your living, dining and sleeping spaces, and there is a bathroom to wash off the mud after a busy day exploring. As a bonus, one of the bedrooms on the second floor features an en-suite shower room. The courtyard may act as a walkway for guests in the neighbouring properties, but it doesn’t stop this from being a delightful spot to sip your wine on sunny evenings. Lovely cosy and well thought out cottage for a winter stay with everything you needed. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable few days. Parking easy, handy for several good pubs in the village. Recommended for excellent walking and visiting Chatsworth.

Arrived at Stonecroft on a cold blustery day and immediately felt warm and cosy . The house has everything you could possibly need for a great holiday, kitchen was well equipped and all the beds were really comfy with crisp clean linen. Location is perfect for all the wonderful things to do in the area, we went to Christmas at Chatsworth which was Read morewonderful if you get a chance . The 3 local pubs all do fantastic food. A lovely cottage in a great location for lots of walks . The cottage was well equipped, very clean, comfy beds and excellent showers. Street parking was fine and the location was a great base to visit all areas of the peaks. All 3 local pubs served really good food. We loved our stay in this spotless, spacious cottage. Perfect location for exploring the Peak District. Close to the Monsal Trail and the lovely town of Bakewell. A comfortable, warm, and well-equipped cottage in a great location for exploring the Peak District. Lots of walks from the door, through pretty villages and beautiful countryside. Close to Bakewell and Chatsworth.

Very comfortable, cosy and well appointed cottage in an excellent position in terms of pubs, walks and activities. And only a few miles from Bakewell. We had a lovely time. The owner was particularly helpful and came to our rescue on our last day as we were snowed in! Many thanks

Fabulous place to stay, location is perfect, multiple good pubs in walking distance. Kitchen is well equipped and living room is a beautiful place to curl up in front of the fire after a days walking. Would definitely stay here again.

How lucky were we to stay in this perfect cottage? We could not recommend this cottage enough. It was spotless. Cosy. Well maintained with quality contents. The position of the cottage was perfect. We could do three great walks straight from the front door. There is enough eateries to go to without using the car. We will definitely return!!

This cottage was perfect for us. As we aren't walkers the accommodation we stay in has to be good as that is a major part of our holiday and this place was lovely. Location was excellent for visiting various towns, pubs near by were all of a good quality and I saw lots of walks close by. Close to good bouldering too. Dogs welcome almost everywhere.Read more Great Longstone was a lovely village. There is a local dairy where you can buy fresh milk which is to die for! Hide

Lovely cottage in a lovely village. Very central so we could get anywhere in 20 minutes. Very comfortably fitted out with good beds and linen. Nice extras in the cottage which were appreciated like the coffee pods. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Fantastic, well equipped cottage within our favourite village in the Peaks. Easy access to Bakewell for Thornbridge and shops, lots of great pubs, Monsal trail and bike hire. Many days we didn't use the car.

Kitchen is quite small for 6 people and needs large pans if you are cooking and lids for the pans that are there. Missing a non slip mat in the bath/shower. Shower very noisy. Back steps in yard uneven and starting to break/crumble, be careful.

A really charming cottage, very comfortable even with 5 adults. The road parking was my one concern before we got that and its was totally fine. This is a village so really not busy and parking was always easy to find very nearby and in sight, majority of time we parked right outside. A beautifully presented cottage in a great location. Bright decor and a cosy atmosphere. We love cooking so enjoyed the stove/range and well equipped kitchen/dining area. Great walks to be done right from the village. And super village shop, local eggs and milk.
