Well presented cottage in a great location for walks in the Derbyshire Dales. Great local pub for food. Lovely relaxing hot tub. Super king size bed very comfortable. The bedroom is spacious with a lovely chandelier. Would recommend as we really enjoyed our 5 night stay

We had a really nice stay . Hot tub was amazing and made the holiday. I didnt feel over looked despite it being at the front of the property. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed was THE most comfiest ! Bathroom very nice Maybe struggled without a coffee table or foot stool on an evening but overall a perfect holiday Thankyou Dan

Don't expect use of the hot tub on the day of arrival as it was stone cold when I arrived.I paid for a full weekend and only managed to use it on two evenings. Having been in touch with the owner himself and holiday cottages I was basically told there's nothing they can do,I asked for a nights refund and have been refused any kind of goodwill gestuRead morere. Beautiful cottage, immaculate and well equipped. A bed to die for , so comfy and absolutely huge. Hot tub is fabulous. Lovely quiet village with a great pub , The Rising Sun doing nice food. Highly recommend for a nice little break. We will be back

Lovely clean cosy cottage. Bed super comfy. Rainfall shower was lovely & hot with under floor heating. Washing machine if needed.Was super snug with 3 pointer type dogs but they just crashed in front of the wood burner after a long walk. The cottage was very clean. We went in December and there were some extra nice touches for the season including a Christmas tree in the bedroom which was lovely. The cottage suited our two night stay. The garden is at the front of the property but the hot tub is screened off from the road. The road was very quiet anyway and we had no problem with tRead moreraffic noise. We had a lovely stay. We had two dogs with us who sleep in crates which worked okay but didnt leave a lot of space. The cottage itself is cosy and charming but the location is awful. No parking, and situated on a busy road with cars speeding up and down; which can be heard from inside. Not the ideal relaxing getaway we had hoped for. Also neighbours either side. No real privacy for the hot tub either; there's a fence and small iron gate. Lovely cottage and facilities, great location. From the photos it looks like the garden is secluded. But with the low wrought iron gate it is actually exposed. Also, didnt feel 100% comfortable at letting dogs out without being in the patio area with them, as catch on gate easily opened if they jumped at it! Lovely cosy cottage, the hot tub made it for us especially after a day of walking. Great shower and comfortable bed. However the cottage sits directly on a main busy noisy road which wasnt clear when we booked. We didnt use the oven whilst there either as it was dirty and in need of a clean. A lovely location with easy access to the Middleton moors so lovely for dog walking. Tourist attractions such as the miniature railway and Middleton Top pump house were also in walking distance. A beautiful, cosy and welcoming cottage in an excellent location for exploring the Peak District. An incredibly comfortable and cosy bed, a well equipped kitchen and the hot tub was very welcome of an evening (although the cover was a bit tricky to get on and off.) We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Cottage is well located for walking. Hot tub is great after a days walking. Bedroom is roomy and bed really comfy. Shower room is very nice. For our stay we found that the oven was filthy and we were not happy to use it. Cottage windows were very draft.

New year stay. Lovely cottage in quiet village. Good facilities, washing machine & dishwasher included. Log burner was lovely for the cold nights. Good size towels provided. Lovely little cottage, thoroughly enjoyed my stay their with my wife and dog. The new bathroom is beautifully done. The bedroom upstairs very spacious and bed was comfortable. The road noise was loud at night when cars went past but that is very minor.

Great week in the Peak District and this was a great cottage close to local facilities. It had everything you needed included a hot tub and open fire and it felt cosy and homely. Kitchen was well equipped and a great bathroom with huge shower.

Beautiful, quaint cottage offering superb accommodation. Modern with everything you would expect. Shower fantastic. Bedroom a lovely size as is the bed which is extremely comfy. Hottub an added bonus especially after a long days walk. Would recommend this cottage.

A really lovely clean well kept cottage in a beautiful setting complete with hot tub which was enjoyable, plenty of walks from the doorstep plus a Co-op Supermarket and garage nearby, Matlock Bath and Matlock also Bakewell are really nice places to look around, would definitely recommend staying here

Lovely cottage, a bit small, but fine once you get used to layout, would of rathered bathroom upstairs which was plenty of room in bedroom for one! , very nervy coming down the stairs in night to use toilet as they are curved so some steps very narrow!! Garden extremely small ! So if you have a dog be mindful of that!

Really enjoyable stay and everything you need! Very clean and a comfortable bed. The only issue we had was dogs were not allowed upstairs but only found that out when we arrived. There was also no stair gate to keep our dog downstairs easily. The stairs was also very steep and a little dangerous so had to watch our dog constantly which made it not Read morevery relaxing but we werent in the cottage each day for long so not too bad I guess.
