This picturesque converted farm building offers spacious accommodation full of original features and character. Within walking distance of the café and pub in Monyash and is just five miles from Buxton.

One of five cottages near the village of Monyash. Enjoy this splendid location where a wide range of activities and attractions are available for all ages within your family group. These include many historic country houses the spa town of Buxton to the north with its world renowned Opera House where you can enjoy a concert or some theatre the delightful market town of Ashbourne with its cobbled streets and additionally a number of nearby cycle trails (with bike hire available).

The extremely and very spacious accommodation is apparent as you enter the cottage the area to your right being the fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials you will require for your stay and is open to the dining area. The area to the left being the lounge sitting area where you can relax in comfortable seating with stairs leading up from the lounge. The stairs lead to the two bedrooms one with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over toilet and hand basin. The second bedroom has twin beds and en-suite bathroom with a shower toilet and hand basin. There is shared use of the gardens to the front of the cottages which enjoy the sun throughout most of the day and into the early evening.

The cottage is one of five in this location. When booked together, the cottages sleep up to 16 people.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Perfect location for exploring the Peak District. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly, even taking us into Buxton when we experienced car problems. We would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely spacious cottage with good shared outside space. Not in a village so 10 minute walk down roads to nearest pub and public footpath. Pet friendly so be prepared for dogs in shared outside area, and unfortunately evidence of pets in cottage due to poor standard of cleaning.

Really good cottage, planning to return. Extremely well equipped. Did not experience any problems. Well insulated from noise in adjoining cottages by thick stone walls. Car essential.

Lovely location on working dairy farm. Within walking distance from Monyash village and short drives to Bakewell or Dovedale. Comfortable, well stocked dog friendly cottage. Enjoyed our short break.
