The property catered for the varied needs of grandparents, parent and 3 children, ages ranging from 5 to 11. The facilities were excellent both inside and out with the children making much use of the outside area. The welcome was both warm and sincere and the setting outstanding.

Jane was great. She was helpful and kind. We really enjoyed the outdoor football pitch. It is a great outdoor area. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace and making our own fires. It was great having a large table with many chairs.

We've just spent a wonderful autumnal week at The Byre. Perfect accommodation, very welcoming hosts, fully equipped with all we could need, blissfully quiet and rural with woodland walks from the door and yet wonderfully located for exploring the beauty of the Peak District and only 5 minutes drive from a supermarket.
