From two pensioners. The things we loved about the Carriage House began when on arrival the car could be easily parked. Then the interior is light and airy. The King size bed is very comfortable and the underfloor heating in the en suite is very welcome. Not forgetting the handy proximity of a friendly pub, The Tiger.

Very comfortable cottage. We were glad that the owner phoned before our visit to tell us how to find it as the cottage is not labelled.

We had a great 5 night stay. Its modern, smart, private, full of natural light and cosy. Perfect for a couple. We loved walking from the door in the Ecclesbourne Valley and only 20 minute drive to access Dovedale. Shout out for the Tiger pub 3 min walk - decent food and friendly service. Relaxing holiday.

We had a lovely week staying here. It is very convenient for exploring the countryside and the pub is a few minutes walk away. There was plenty of space in the cottage for two people with comfortable furniture and modern fittings. Warm and cosy.

Property is in a great location for exploring the Peak District, it had everything we needed but the kitchen area wasn't set out as good as it could have been, we ate out every night so wasn't really an issue for us and wouldn't put me off going again, underfloor heating was great especially in the bathroom, owners are lovely, highly recommend thisRead more property! Nice property, good access to road network. Nice pub nearby. Not good for those wishing to cook own meals, lack of kitchen equipment. Would recommend taking own towels!
