Highly recommended beautiful 1-bed pad. Spotless, comfortable, well-positioned. Belper and Ashbourne both lovely towns easily reached, plus Carsington Water is gorgeous. Will stay again definitely!

Bedroom furniture poor. Only 2 hangers in wardrobe. Kitchen equipment needed a clean before being used. No clock. No everyday mugs/cups. No welcome milk or teabags. Cottage position didnt match up to what we imagined from write up. Overall we were disappointed.

Ok but needs a deep clean, cobwebs over the shower, behind bathroom and bedroom doors, and in the kitchen cupboards. The shower heads were very dirty and off putting. No mugs or standard size cups just tiny coffee cups. On the plus side the bed and sofa were very comfortable. I hate leaving bad reviews but I prefer to be honest

This cottage stay was comfortable for a short stay and in a good location to access walks or hikes in the Peak District. Lacked basic amenities such as soap, washing up liquid, toilet brush and dishwashing tablets. Basic utensils in kitchen were fine for simple meals. Overall cleaniless was average, was surfaced clean but then upon further living rRead moreevealed areas which were neglected. We enjoyed our stay and the local pub was lovely too. Hide
