Nestled at the foot of the Derwent Valley in Derbyshire, Matlock Bath is a unique village that lies on the south-eastern edge of the Peak District National Park. A popular tourist attraction since the 17th century, this beautiful village has earned nicknames such as ‘the seaside resort miles from the sea’ and ‘Little Switzerland’. There’s a long street of shops, cafes, and places of interest like the aquarium. Riverside walks are ideal for a shady stroll. Within an easy drive are the splendid Chatsworth House (8.5 miles), Haddon Hall (7.5 miles), and Crich Tramway Village (5.5 miles). You can also take advantage of the excellent walking routes around the Derwent Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Stepping into the accommodation is sure to give an impressive first impression with huge, vaulted ceilings and spacious open-plan living. If the nearby restaurants can’t tempt you to eat out, the kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, offering an electric oven and hob, fridge, and washing machine.
