This wonderful detached cottage is set in a peaceful and quiet location surrounded by amazing views of the peak district and comes complete with hot tub.

Take on the mighty Kinder Scout (22 miles) from this stunning detached cottage surrounded by breathtaking views of the Peak District National Park. When you’re not ambling through moorland, crossing gentle streams and scrambling up steep rocks, slow down the pace with a visit to the historic spa town of Buxton (9 miles), home to a host of shops, pubs and restaurants. Or, soothe tired muscles from your very own hot tub in the beautiful lawned garden.

Recently refurbished, this quintessential stone-built cottage offers a cosy base from which to explore this fantastic area. Keen cooks will delight in the contemporary kitchen, with its twin electric ovens and Nespresso coffee machine. Once prepared, tuck into family feasts beneath the beams in the cosy dining room while the wood burner keeps your toes toasty. Afterwards, relax and unwind beside a second roaring wood burner in the stylish modern lounge. Upstairs, each of the three bedrooms has been beautifully finished in soft muted tones, while the bath and shower rooms have a luxurious hotel feel. Step outside to dine alfresco or admire the starry skies from the bubbling hot tub.

Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Peak District, this property is perfectly placed for memorable holidays filled with outdoor adventure. Take a hike up the famous Kinder Scout, the highest point in the Peak District, with its magnificent views, unspoilt moorland and beautiful waterfall. Cycle along the traffic-free Tissington Trail, passing through the breathtaking countryside of the Derbyshire Dales. Or, for the more adventurous, cool off with a wild swim at Three Shires Head (6.5 miles) on Axe Edge Moor. For supplies, head for Buxton or for a treat, grab a portion of fish and chips from Longnor (2 miles).

A lovely well appointed cottage in a convenient location for many enjoyable walks. The cottage was warm and comfortable, with a super garden that was safe for our dog. There were some lovely goodies awaiting us in the kitchen and the owners had clearly thought carefully about the needs of their guests, so we would highly recommend!

We have had a lovely stay. Our 2 year working cocker spaniel loved the cottage and the garden. The owners have done a great job with making the cottage so 'cottage cosy' with some welcome modern features & high end decor - but keeping the real charm of the cottage. What can I say, we didnt want to leave! The location is what sets this place apart from the rest and the views on the photos dont do it justice. The gardens are beautiful and extremely well kept. Lovely secluded cottage. The gardens are extensive and hot tub a luxury. The road down to the cottage is single track with no passing places, we had to reverse back down it a couple of times to let other cars through. Well equipped for self-catering. This cottage is an absolute treasure. The location is amazing. We had our first family holiday for ten years! We were able to take our little Shih Tzu, who had the time of her 10 yr life, on her first holiday, she actually completed the Dovedale Peak & Mam Tor. We enjoyed the hot tub everyday. A beautiful cottage in a very quiet rural area but not far from the village of Longnor. Harrington a bit further but fabulous cheese shop. Amazing cottage in a lovely rural location. Perfect to get away from it all, but close enough to visit Bakewell, walk The Dragons Back, Mam Tor and Jacobs Ladder. Only ten minutes away from the start of the Tissington trail and High Peak Trail. A great cottage and location for our first family holiday. We found the house was a home from home and had everything for holidaying with our little one (6 months old). This is a fabulous cottage in the most gorgeous location. Feels remote but easy reach of shopping. Grocery delivery not a problem either.Cottage very well equipped ,comfy and cosy.Hot tub just the ticket after long walks. A lovely Christmas spent at this cottage, the photos have made it look bigger than it really is but having said that it was very cosy and quant., Kitchen is to die for with everything you needed to cook a full Christmas dinner. I dont often use the word stunning but the views and the land surrounding this cottage were stunning . Not a huge cottage but so comfortable and luxurious- beds, bedding and showers were all high end. Kitchen particularly well equipped . Hot tub was blissful. Car essential as walking directly from cottage is limited.

Amazing!!! We had a fantastic few days staying at the cottage. Got everything you need and more, spacious, clean, very modern with the most amazing views. The hot tub is a bonus, and you are surrounded by wonderful views. We went for dinner at the Royal Oak just up the road and the food was AMAZING, highly recommend it. I cannot wait to return!

We were the first visitors at this beautiful cottage since its renovation and it was lovely, we stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. Such a relaxing place and beautiful unspoilt views around the whole cottage. Hot tub was great and owners very helpful. We plan to go back! Would highly recommend this cottage.
