This beautiful second floor apartment is located within the heart of Bakewell with private parking, an ideal retreat for those wanting to explore all the Peak District has to offer.

The farmers market, independent eateries and Bakewell Pudding shops make this escape a foodies delight, a short drive away is the famous Chatsworth farm shop. Ideally positioned in the centre of the popular market town of Bakewell, guests staying at the property can enjoy the numerous shops and restaurants that are on offer on your doorstep. Outside the town there are many attractions waiting to be explored, including the nearby country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall and for walkers, the White and Dark Peaks await.

Arriving at the property, the charming Georgian entrance welcomes you, the apartment is located on the 1st floor approached via a traditional sweeping staircase. Enter the apartment and step through into the kitchen which has everything you need for a relaxing stay such as an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Heading into the lounge which offers a feature fireplace and French doors to a small stone balcony overlooking the courtyard, two sofas and a TV/DVD, an ideal place to relax after a busy day exploring the Peaks and local area. There are two fabulous bedrooms, with the master room having an impressive en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower and WC and the second with a fabulous four poster bed which has a very small en-suite shower room with WC.

A superb location and cottage. Very clean and comfortable with loads of charm. We did not have a car but were able to get around easily with public transportation. Local pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommend this cottage for relaxing holiday.

Wonderful accommodation right in the centre of Bakewell. Good base for exploring the Peak District. Great to have free car parking at the back of the house. Well furnished and comfortable. This was our first trip to the area and Bakewell has many eating places locally which we could walk to. Will definitely return again.
