This mid-terraced cottage is set in the heart of the village of Barlow and has recently been improved to a high standard, offering easy access to the market town of Chesterfield and the rest of the Peak District.

The property is a welcoming mid-terraced cottage located at the heart of Barlow, on the eastern edge of the Peak District National Park. The market town of Chesterfield is a short drive to many nearby attractions.  Within easy reach is the spa town of Buxton and the market town of Bakewell, famous for the original Bakewell pudding. Spend days out walking the Edges or wander around local market towns and picturesque villages. Chatsworth House, Hardwick and Haddon Halls are all within twenty minutes drive which provide fun for the whole family. The location provides numerous footpaths from the village, leading to explore the surrounding countryside. Located near two award winning gastro pubs, there’s no need to worry about washing up.

The first feature you will notice in the cottage is the cosy lounge and its modern feature fireplace. Nearby is the well-equipped kitchen / dining area and all the essentials you will require for your stay – there is a useful lobby to the rear that can be useful for storing your muddy boots after a long walk. Ascending the staircase leads you to the first floor and two bedrooms, each with a double bed. On this floor is the tasteful family bathroom (mind the step down). A  second flight of stairs takes you to the eaves of the house, to a snug with a sloping ceiling which has a double futon, TV and PlayStation.

To the rear of the cottage is a secure patio garden to enjoy those clear Peak District evenings and rear access to the parking area.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Good luxurious cottage. Great village feel about the area where people are very friendly.
