Situated near the banks of the River Wye, right in the heart of the of Bakewell the accommodation is all on one level, with allocated parking. This is a perfect family base in the heart of the Peaks.

With so much on the doorstep you can park your car, hang up your keys and enjoy all of the many local amenities and attractions within walking distance. The property is situated near the foot of the popular Monsal Trail – a traffic free route for walkers & cyclists, through some of the Peak District's most spectacular limestone dales with Hassop cafe, bike hire and gift/bookshop only a mile stroll. Alternatively, within a short car journey you can visit some of the larger attractions the Peak district has to offer, such as Chatsworth House and farm shop and Haddon Hall both within five miles with the assurance that you can return to your own private parking spaces within this bustling market town.

You step into the ground floor accommodation into a cloakroom area, the perfect place for kicking off muddy boots and finding your slippers. Following through into the lounge/kitchen/diner with the original full length mill windows that flood the rooms with light and make the most of the neutral tones throughout. The stylish lounge area has been beautifully furnished with comfortable sofa where you can relax after a busy day and watch the TV/DVD and door leading out onto a front patio area overlooking the historic mill wheel. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Leading off from the lounge are the three, welcoming king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made into twins on request), one with an en-suite shower and WC. Here you will also find the bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Externally there is a front patio area, overlooking the old mill wheel, with seating provided. There is allocated parking spaces for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Our second visit to this flat. It's very comfy and well equipped. The large entrance hall is great for wet coats and muddy boots. Great for two couples, as we use the third bedroom for extra storage.

Fabulous property in a great location. We never needed to use the car as there was plenty to do within a short walk from the property. The property was extremely well equipped and suited our family very well, including our 7month grandson....there was even a box of toys for him to play with.

This is a lovely cottage in the heart of Bakewell. Very comfy interior, amazing kitchen supply, hot water all day and just 1 min away from Coop. We loved our stay there.

The cottage is beautiful in architecture and is unique. The location is the best, being quiet but only 2 mins walk to the centre. The owners are more than accommodating and dealt with a couple of very small queries immediately. There is more than enough equipment for every day use. Only minor downside was that there were quite a few cobwebs with spRead moreiders in a few places like porch area and windows - open a window, in came a spider! Im an arachnophobe!! Fantastic property in the heart of picturesque Bakewell. After a long drive it was fantastic to arrive at such a lovely property with thoughtful extra touches like bread, butter and milk waiting. What a beautiful apartment , could easily live there. Everything you could want and more. The standard of decoration was top notch and the design touches were something out of a magazine . It was the little touches like fresh bread and milk when you arrived that made the difference .Couldnt fault it and will be booking again. Highly recomended .

A charmingly refurbished apartment with plenty of character located in the heart of Bakewell. Shops,restaurants and a park for dog owners 2 mins away.The Monsal trail was 10 mins walk. A lovely property in a central location. Perfect for three couples. The owner had left a few provisions to get us started which was appreciated. We especially liked the jar of maltesers. We had a really great three nights over the New Year period.
