This cosy cottage commands absolutely superb views from its elevated position - It exudes tranquility! The uphill track to it is long and winding through fields of grazing cattle. It is a very relaxing place to spend a holiday with plenty to do in the area along with good pubs and restaurants - if needed!

Lovely cottage in a great location. Homely feel and the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Some nice touches, including maps and walking books, made the process of filling our days very easy! Be aware that the farm track up to the cottage is definitely rural and needs to be taken with care!

Enjoyed our stay at the Old Dairy, loved the idea of having kitchen and living room up stairs so as to look at the fantastic views and sunsets. Central to many places to visit.

We had a wonderful week at the Old Diary at Old Masson Barn. The sunsets and storm views were sublime. The birds and cow wake up calls were just what we needed and the location was perfect for all the walking we had planned. Ed and Lulu were super friendly and helpful and we will definitely return

Clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly owner. Wonderful views and near enough to town/shops to be accessible but far enough away to be totally private. Not sure my previous low slung sports car would have enjoyed the access track but fine for all normal large and small family cars.
