Entry to the property is through the main door which leads into the ground floor hallway.Off the hallway is a utility/storage drying room and a small cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.Stairs from the hallway lead to the first floor open plan dining/lounge kitchen area that has all the essentials needed for your stay.Adding to the contemporary style of the property is an exposed stone wall and a vaulted heavily beamed ceiling which also adds character to the room.Off this room are the two bedrooms both with high ceilings and exposed beams the bedroom to the front has a double bed and overlooks the garden the bedroom to the rear has two single beds and views across fields and the surrounding countryside.The bathroom has a bath with shower over toilet and hand basin and the garden sitting out area adjoins the main entrance to the property

Very comfortable cottage with everything thought of. There is open plan kitchen/diner and two good sized bedrooms. Quiet location up private road. Plenty of parking and enclosed front garden for dog to use. There are steps up to the living accommodation. Very useful utility room. Easy access to peak district and surrounding area. A compact but surprisingly spacious property with a generous utility room on the ground floor. The owners are on site and are very welcoming. This was our second visit and it was like staying with old friends. Although near a busy road, the property is secluded and very quiet. Conveniently situated for walking the dog and for getting to the local vRead moreillage pub for a meal. Dogs are welcome at the pub too. Hide

Very comfortable cottage, with all we needed on our short break. We - and the dog - were made very welcome. Quiet location off busy road. Not much to see in the village itself although surrounded by beautiful countryside and within short drive of the Peak District National Park.
