Lovely converted barn which is kept spotlessly clean. Good location to visit all the sites in The Peaks as well as doing some shopping on a rainy day in Derby.

We had a lovely week staying at The Barn and exploring the beautiful countryside nearby. The Barn is very comfortable and well equipped and we would recommend it highly.

A very warm welcome from the owners who have mastered the art of being available if needed but respecting their guests privacy. Cottage extremely tidy and clean which was lovely, very comfy beds and furnishings. Excellent dog walks from the door for the morning stroll and a brilliant base to explore the Peak district.

The owners were very friendly and gave a good overview of the barn. Everything you could possibly need had been thought of and it was spotless. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space. Good local walks to the church and near the pub which did a fab Sunday lunch. Only minor gripe is with the holiday company for saying there is an enclosRead moreed space for dogs when really it's a small lawn belonging to the owner which you wouldn't want to let your dog play on and spoil it. Would come again Hide

Lovely place with small private courtyard. Ideal location for what we wanted to do whilst in the area. 30 min drive from Alton towers and close proximity to other places of interest.

A very hospitable owner to the extent that nothing was too much trouble. Great country walks and cycling from the house - stunning rural views across the fields with some quaint villages nearby. Within easy reach of Ashbourne and the wonderful Derbyshire Dales beyond. Pub quiz at the local pub a must on a Thursday night.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It is perfectly located for lots of family days out. Although there are stairs from the front door to the main accommodation, the living space is all on one level which suited us very well. We found the location to be lovely and quiet and the beds were very comfortable!

We really enjoyed our week at Old Hall Farmhouse Barn. We found the barn comfortable and relaxing and it is in a perfect location . We enjoyed visiting Dovedale, Ilam , Hartington, Matlock and Buxton. The barn also had lots of places that were ideal for dog walking and the utility room is good for storing shoes and has a washing machine and dryer.
