A delightful single level cottage, perfectly situated for those looking to explore the countryside on foot or by bicycle. It's also just a short drive to pretty market towns - perfect for whiling away an afternoon.

This delightful detached barn has been converted to an extremely high standard and is full of charm and character with all rooms including bathrooms having their own thermostatically controlled under-floor heating.

It is located in the owner’s grounds on the edge of the village just a few minutes walk to the centre of the village and the local amenities. A short drive will take you to the popular market towns of Bakewell Ashbourne and Buxton and is an excellent base for walking from the doorstep into Dovedale or cycling the Tissington and Manifold Trails.

You enter the cottage into the open plan lounge/dining/kitchen which has a vaulted beamed ceiling with the kitchen having all the essential equipment you will need for your stay. Off the lounge area is a wet shower room with shower hand basin and toilet. Also off the kitchen/dining area are the two bedrooms both with beamed ceilings the second bedroom having twin beds and the main bedroom having a double bed and its own en suite wet shower room with shower toilet hand basin and heated towel rail. There is a sitting out area to the front of the cottage which enjoys the sun for most of the day.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This is a lovely cottage with 2 good sized bedrooms and 2 large wet rooms. The location is amazing and wonderful to watch the cows in the field in the evening. Patio area and furniture great for Bbq,s and the owners are very friendly and there if you need them. We will certainly book again.

A welcome pack of fresh eggs and milk, a meet & cuddle the lambs session with the owner, all you need for self catering in the kitchen, cosy bedrooms with interesting original features. What more could you need?

Hartington Village is a really quaint place to visit with various attractions within short distances . Of special mention are the delightful Beresford Cafe , the Village Cheese Shop , mmmmhh . Couple that with the Bus service to Ashbourne . Within striking distance there are some Raw Milk farms with Cafes , High Peak Book Shop which has a huge seleRead morection of books , for all sorts and ages . Buxton being a short ride away , as is Cromford and Matlock . Hide

Lovely position close to Hartington village center with its selection of amenities. Easy access to footpath for walks. Friendly owner's who are close at hand but not intrusive.

Great cottage. Everything you need for a home from home experience. If you enjoy walking, just step outside for some wonderful walks just on the doorstep. The village of Harrington is perfect for all your needs. All in all our holiday was absolutely fabulous...
