This was a delightful cottage in lovely surroundings but, in our opinion, in need of a thorough clean. No WiFi, which was not mentioned, and not enough information. Furniture and fittings, though of good quality, were dated (and we are in our 60s) but we found the shower was excellent for people with limited mobility. We felt that the agency shouldRead more have kept a better check on the place as the elderly couple who own it are probably not aware of the standard required. Hide

It was a lovely cottage with a brook and a hill behind at a perfect location. The owners are kind and friendly, and we enjoyed staying there for one week. We would like to return next time we go back to the Peak District!

A pleasant cottage in a wonderful location. If you are less mobile please note access issues. There is a single high step into the property. The friendly owners solved this by providing some stout wooden planks to make a shallow step. There is a high step into the shower, approximately 20 cm with a drop of about 10 cm into the shower.
