Great sized cottage in a beautiful quiet location. The facilities were fantastic in the kitchen and the whole cottage was extremely comfortable. Lots of games for both indoor and out, with a huge barbecue and plenty of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy quality family time. Only a 15 walk down to the stunning iconic location of the stepping stones,Read more and easy access to Thorpe Cloud with amazing views of it from the kitchen window. We all loved the house and garden and the fact we could all sit together outside, and inside, and had a big dining room table so we could all eat together too. It was very comfortable and warm and we felt very much at home. A great family property.

Lovely comfortable ,well equipped and decorated house, set in a large attractive garden. The village is in some of the most impressive scenery in England.

Thorpe Green is a wonderful barn conversion which is well situated for Dovedale. It has extensive mature grounds and provides accommodation for up to 9 people although this might be better as 6 adults and three children. There is a most impressive dining room with open fireplace and a large siting room which opens up onto the south facing garden. We had a lovely holiday at this home. It's very spacious and comfortable, and has a large and secluded garden. Thorpe Green is ideally situated just a short walk away from Dovedale and the famous stepping stones, and a few minutes in the car from the lovely town of Ashbourne and little village of Ilam.
