Great location. Very clean. Both cottage and garden need major TLC. Damp patches on ceilings patchy paint work. Outside paint work shoddy. Broken pots/containers left in garden. Loose slates not a good base for dog areas. Not good value for money.

Fabulous place to stay. It gives you a big hug from the moment you walk thru the door. Great location for getting to lots of different places. Village only has a pub so be prepared with provisions before you arrive.

We had a fantastic stay at Thor's View Cottage. The furniture, decoration and feel of the property was very warm and welcoming. We had plenty of room for us and our dog. The views from the garden are stunning and there are lots of walks from this location as well as a short drive to anywhere.

We had a lovely stay. The only thing we both would say is that the bed was so comfy but the pillows were to hard for our liking so we would 100% stay again and just take pillows with us! The dogs loved it, but the fence at the back was low so we just had to supervise then so they didnt try to join the sheep. It was close to so many places we visiteRead mored Bakewell, Mam Tor and Thors Cave. We ordered an Indian from the local it was lovely too. Hide
